entering car crashed game and teleported me across map to my friend

So i was to meet up a friend.

was on voice chat, i just jumped in to car, as i pressed square, i was flung up in air like a rocket,
at the exact same moment i pressed square, my friend said "are you wearing a yellow helmet? because i just saw you!" 
and then my game crashed.
when restarting and logging in i spawned at the location where my friend spotted me.
thing is my car was on other side of map when i was about to enter it,

 

Anyone else had this bug?

There's been some weird character sync issues happening, Where you are one place but the server thinks you are another place, Its pretty wild. Even with friends , so all 2 of you can be lets say Kamy, and you walked to cherno, A guy relogs, and the game puts him all the back in kamy, Its is very weird.
