Can someone tell me if making your own server is possible? I was looking at the mods, and I keep getting kicked from servers because I installed some mods that I would like to use, but servers aren't using them.

You would need to rent a server to use mods you want to use.

for your access problem you need to use dayzsa launcher to set up the correct mods

 

you can set up your own server at home, with or without mods, connecting to the internet.

1 - Download Dayz server

2 - Open relevant ports, including ports for Dayzsa (if you are running mods) in your firewall and router - information can be found online

3 - write .bat file and scheduler to control server and Bec - information can be found online

4 - play . . . .

I am currently running a DayZ server from a home pc . .. . . . this is my third server  now
