X3nios 0 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) Hello folks, Id love to see some more future in dayz. We are living in 2019, people are comming closer together trough the internet. There are some game out that show's us how it could be done. Look at the free game "Warthunder" it has crossplay support for years now, nobody is noticing it ingame. In Fortnite you can play with all you friends everywhere, even on your phone. Hearthstone can be played with everyone as well. PUBG can be played between console and soon also between console and pc. The new CoD allows crossplay between console and pc. just give players the option to choose what they want. Free minds can choose there own way to play. Just allow mouse & keyboard on console, pc already can use a controller. Then setup different servers with and without crossplay. You also can give a kind of toggle option. If you dont want to spent extra money into servers, please let the community host their own crossplay servers. Crossplay community servers could be a easy way to save or make money for bohemia. The devs have already stated that crossplay is not something that they are considering currently, nor should they, since there is plenty of work left to be done in balancing, bug-fixing and feature additions. Once we get stable cars on full servers, other means of transportation like bicycles, improved base building, boats and helis, bows and arrows, broken bones, fishing and more PvE options -- all on a game that is balanced and stable to the point that I don't have to relog every hour to fix a sound bug or a "stuck in my hands" bug or whatever, at that point, it will be time to work on crossplay. First people cry about no Crossplay... * Bohemia adds Crossplay* Then people cry about Console perfomance being unfair towards PC perfomance and cry about how PC players are faster in everything... inventory management and general shooting and reloading mags and stuff..
