supernick 33 Posted October 16, 2019 1) how much time/real days can be passed since i digged a drybag? 2) the drybag status (pristine, damaged) effect the game in some way? 3) is there a limit for a drybags i can dig? 4) just a thought, but digged drybags isn't a dangerous plague like duping? i mean, i find a nvg/good rifle i dig, i find another, i dig.......doing that i don't ruin server loot? Markyd 12 Posted October 16, 2019 45 real days a dry bag will stay stashed and I think it’s on a timer as soon as it spawns the clock starts and for the amount u can stash it’s up to how many u find and stash lol
etaab 70 Posted October 17, 2019 1. That's what I heard also, but as long as you interact with it before the timer expires it should stay buried. Dry bags are my only stashes, i dont trust bases with barrels or storing items in cars. I have all sorts of weapons buried, not duped but found legitimately. If they despawn I wouldn't be too upset as I carry the most valuable weapons on me first and use what's in my dry bags as replacements if I die. 2. I don't think so, but I always duct tape them back to working condition before burying. I've never had one fail on me yet 3. Again i don't think so. I've about 15 dry bags buried around the map and I routinely visit them all 4. No. Sure it does help dupers hide stuff, but it's part of the game. If they remove that feature to prevent dupers, I would be fine with that.

Dodd54 28 Posted October 17, 2019 Deffo find dry bags the best way to keep items hidden, having a base is a dead give away might aswel have a flashing sign saying good loot hidden here!!
etaab 70 Posted October 17, 2019 (edited) Its not just about burying stuff, but choosing a good spot to hide them is key. I find a forest works best, with usually on a route nobody would pass through much as it doesn't lead to any key towns or villages. I often have to enter a forest at a specific spot before heading a direction and counting trees or rocks to where the stash is then bury it under long grass or a bush so the dark spot can't be seen easily. I've not had a single stash found by other players and they've been buried since the character wipe at the start of August. Parazight 1599 Posted October 23, 2019 I always KOS people with drybags first. See, drybags are a great way to store tires. And I like to collect tires. And drybags.
