When it happens my character won't reload or use items (food and drink etc). But moves forward slightly and stamina goes down, this is when using hold Y to reload. wh1skey_ 111 Posted September 17, 2019 I’ve had it happen a few times. Just go about playing and give it some time, switch to other items, come back to your gun later on and it seems to fix itself. Really wierd and I don’t know why it happens de-sync or someone on the server with a super high ping? kinda like how sometimes doors won’t be able to open and the button prompt won’t show.. Usually when items start acting weird, typically they will not pickup, equip or no action can be performed this persist until leaving the server and logging back in. Unfortunately lost a few items to this already, because it acts similarly to no message received state, where it sends you back a bit. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

He's talking about when you try and reload your gun it will glitch. You cant change the mag and you can not shoot. All you hear is the firing pin click. Only thing you can do is throw it away and find a new one. I remember back in .63 I think it was you couldn't clear a jam. So you had to just throw it away. I used to keep like 5 hand guns on me. Once it jammed throw it and get the new one out lol. What your talking about is the desync. If you cant load a mag, drop or pick up a weapon out of your inventory you have to re-log to get back into sync. When things get stuck in barrels or car trunks or sea chests the only fix is a server reset. Having my own server helps with that.
