Herbal Medicine Suggestion

I don't know if anyone still reads these or takes them seriously, however, if they do, I propose the addition of herbal medicine to the game.  It would be for those of us who may not be able to, or may not want to, risk going into towns very often in order to seek out conventional medicine.  It would also be for those who simply want to live off of the land like hardcore survivors.  I've noticed that there are already a decent number of plants, berries, and fungi that have already been added to the game for edibility, dying, and etcetera and I am confident that it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to add various herbs and flora into the game for medicinal purposes like curing or helping cure various infections and wounds.  It does not have to be anything super complicated nor would it have to be anything fictitious like alchemy or herb craft of other video games, I'm talking actual herbal medicine, not potions.  As a man with limited herbal knowledge, I can also say that it would make the Alcoholic Tincture much more viable due to the fact that a lot of herbal concoctions actually use this as a base for several medicinal applications.  Finally, as a closer, I'll say that if folks don't want to go out and harvest these plants, herbs, and fungi they would be happy to find out that you could simply just grow them in your garden plot alongside your vegetables and whatnot (which, I might add, have several herbal applications in and of themselves, literally just putting a few slices of a humble potato underneath your bandage on top of your wounds helps draw out infection, and with just a few other simple herbs helps combat infection in fact!).  That is all, thank you.

it would be good additition but should be very hard to find,health should be increased just lightly.
dayz has always had problem with  how some items kills purpose of other items.
stone knife kills kitchen knifes etc...
rags kills bandages....
fire drill kills matches...
so herbs should not kill proper medicine....

stone knives .fire drill kits .are not a problem in dayz. In fact they help a player avoid city's and town's . Why do you want to do away with the way i like to play the game?

i dont wanna do that.
stone knives should give you less meat than buthers clever...fire drill should take more time when make fire.
its should be balanced that you can live in wild with all low quality items but its hard and not everyone can do that.
problem is that whats is the reason to even find box of matches when you can do fire in seconds with few sticks.?
make fire with firedrill should take approx 3 minutes to make fire...with matches,10 seconds.

and mix soft skills to it...
bad skills=
stone knife is ruined after one use
firedrill is ruined after one use.

good skills=
stone knife is ruined after 3 use
firedrill is ruined after 3 use.

with herbs,it should be the same...you can cure yourself with herbs a little but it takes time to recover from disease.
but with antibiotics and painkillers and proper medicines....surviving from disease should be faster and more reliable
