Does anyone use a portable radio set?

I have been playing for a long time and almost never heard talks on a portable radio set.
What is her radius?

I use it on The Village server, and The Colony too, but not much on public servers sadly...

On the private server I mostly play the range was boosted to almost the entire map, which is great.

Almost everytime I have got one I turn it on, but unfortunately I have only found one guy on the radio in like six months. It was on one official server and around Stary Sobor. He seemed cool and we talked for a while, but at one point he had to leave so we never met up.

Yep, it's kinda sad. 

I also use it to broadcast a post-apocalypse radio too. Lots of fun. Cheers!

Discord (and other "out of the game" program)  kill this stuff, sadly.
If team need radio for comunication, we can intercept the signal and spy...
