Yeah. Maybe more common locks can be opened with a hacksaw but rarer heavier duty locks harder to open.

The first time I tried taking a fence down I used a sledgehammer and it took forever.

Yup, for a big heavy duty chain with the massive padlock you need bolt cutters or use the generator to hook up the jaws of life from a fire station. Bit noisy but it'd be fun 👍
