How do you throw a grenade?

Press F to cycle through to grenade. Aim upwards to where you want to throw. Hold Left mouse button for distance. Release to throw.

Keep pressing F until you see the grenade is equipped in the top right corner, then just hold and release mouse click to throw.

Grenades also have a set fuse time, and may bounce. => Throwing too high may lead to midair detonation.

"F" cycles through all your weapon modes. automatic fire , semi auto, grenades, under barrel grenade launcher, (if you have one) even tin cans if you have some in inventory which can be thrown. Also tin cans are a way to practice without wasting you grenades.

Or if you want to practice with any weapon open arma in single player and try the editor out.

also the grenade has to be in your inventory not your bag.

"F" key only cycles through what is in your inventory.

In your inventory - not your backpack, same place for flares, chemlights etc

Thanks guys, I had a grenade that required a launcher.

But the last time I pressed 'F' with a grenade in my inventory, my character immediately took it out and threw it, eventhough I had Road Flares and he didn't throw them when I pressed 'F'.

Just letting you know, the crosshair for frag grenades is already at the top of the screen; looking forward will still throw the grenade at a high arc. I didn't know this the first time and I looked up at an angle before I threw it, and the grenade went way high in the air and then blew up around nothing.
