Patient Zero

The only place I pick up tin cans is at a hospital medical box if it's empty. Only way to get it to "rearm" is clear away the cans. But they are a pain in the arse. Maybe tin cans and whiskey bottles should get flagged for clearing every 30 minutes. I don't know if that's possible, or if it would strain the system. Could end up lightening the load on the system. I'm speaking out loud, and also through my arse because I can't play, so I am watching TV which in turn causes me to drink. Yes Dayz made me an alcoholic. I got of light really. It made a lot of other people whiny little turds.

Why do people keep saying "super human" zombies ? If you can see them, they can see you. Right ? They're zombies, not premier league linesman.

I'm for it. As long as you have to bury it and it disappears from game. Because if it's anything like barbed wire, I'm not prone crawling anywhere.

There the ones you need to watch out for. They put up with a ton of shit then all a sudden go medieval on your arse.

You need to find a hospital. These can found in the big cities such as Cherno, Elekto And Berezino. Break the windows of the hospital and look for cardboard boxes full of medical supplies. There may even be some around the back of the building. When starting a new character medical supplies are the top priority.

I was just at cherno central hospital. For the most part I find most people are decent. But not today. I was in desperate need of blood and not a single buddy was on steam. So.... I used direct chat. Said I needed blood and that I would lay face down unarmed, outside of the hospital. "Take the bloodpack out of my back pack, and feel free to take anything you can carry that you want as well" I told whoever was listening. My eyesight was blurred and fading in and out my blood was so low but I could see the guy watching. So there I am laying face down unarmed like a nub, but what choice did I have. I was passing out every 30 seconds. Anyway, guy comes up to the unarmed person laying face down who has said they can take whatever they like and hatchets me. Well fair enough... But what sort of metality is that ? It's not sport. It's not great or skilled PVP. It's not to gain loot. It's not to remove a threat. Guess that's what I get for playing at this time a day when school kicks out. The game would be shit without PVP, but it's becoming shit when people are so desperate for a kill they would shoot someone who had their hands tied behind their back and a bag on their head and then tell themselves how awesome they are at pvp. That's probably my worst experience. Not because I died, I die lots. But because this game used to have some great PVP and person to person contact, but now those moments are few and far between. I won't change how I play, but I am becoming less and less amazed at what tools some people can be. Best experience: Finding a can of beans during the 1.7.4 patch when my foos icon was flashing and I was near starvation lol.

yeah but at least it would stop Apache attack helicopters and tanks roaming about :)

Some of the posts in this thread, geeez. Imagine what people would be like if the team accepted donations and people felt they had the right to demand info on release dates etc. *shudders.

I'm not positive, but one of the icons top left was completely Red. ie: not serviceable. It needed repairs. Edit: just noticed the zed coming out the ground

I have no idea about coding a mod or how the database works. So I have to ask the question, is that possible ? Because if so he does have a point. Hackers are spawning what is in the database from Arma II. If non Dayz items were removed they would not be able to spawn them. But as I said I am asking this as a person with no background in this sort of thing. So I am just asking if it's physically possible.

Must admit, I quite often help new players, but I always give them the sardines. Same way I would give them a Makarov and keep the revolver. As for mountain dew. Found my first can the other day. Then later I cant find it. I must have drunk it by accident. But happy I did because I died earlier today anyway.
