Recommended Posts

man i am so tired of this at this point ive tried everything, complete factory reset on my pc, reinstalled day z 5 times. reinstalled steam 2 times... basically last night i tried to play day z after resetting my computer and whenever i launched it through the files it would say alot of dll's were missing so i  installed the ones they asked for but now im getting stuck with "entry point not found" and it has something to do with VCRUNTIME:140.dll

Look in your Windows Control Panel for that redistributable and uninstall it, then reboot the PC and then download and install it again -- perhaps the versions you have installed are corrupted or incomplete.

When you reinstall, make sure you are installing both the x86 and x64 versions as per: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/the-procedure-entry-point-terminate-could-not-be/4bda41da-ada8-4a74-b6a4-78544e85f709
