Banning a hacker

Hello, server admin here. So whilst looking into reports of a hacker on the server, I was looking in the logs. How can we actually ban players now, since we cannot gain their steam information via the logs. We used to be able to track them via their steam id in the logs. Whereas now it’s encrypted. Please advise as this makes us very defenceless. I know how to ban people, but we can’t gain the necessary information from the logs.

are you on a modded server or a vanilla server as there is ways to ban i use battleye on my server and full admin so i can find hackers easly with spectate and then it shows me all there info
