ok quick qeustion, how much does a server cost to keep it up and running? single time transaction or monthly?

i have looked all over and cant find anything on the price

Depends on the hoster, there are several threads selling servers here, and yes it's monthly pricing.

The cost can relate to if you want a box or just rent a server.

No it means you rent it, but it's yours to do as you wish you aren't just limited to hosting a DayZ server and you can have more than one, these tend to be expensive though

No it means you rent it, but it's yours to do as you wish you aren't just limited to hosting a DayZ server and you can have more than one, these tend to be expensive though

how expensive? like what chernarus said or more?

Most Dedicated servers capable of hosting DayZ/ArmA2 run between $150-300 a month depending on the quality of server you get and the company you choose to rent from.

Most companies charge extra for windows, additional IP's, bandwidth, etc.

I am currently seeking a dedicated server but am leery of how hard it would be to setup multiple servers on a box and maintain them properly (without there being any game control panel systems that support DayZ from what I find).
