Sup, new to the forum.

Main quests at the moment are getting a car going, a ghillie and base building.

Any pointers?

Unless you're building for the experience, don't bother. With map wipes and low server count, your time and effort will be wiped or raided.

Cars are also in this current situation.

Crafting a Ghillie will keep you occupied. Looks awesome too.

Good luck!

For your ghillie, netting and burlap are what you require, use a knife or other sharp object to make burlap into strips and with the correct amount you can combine.

1 Netting + 2 Burlap strips = Ghillie Wrap

2 Netting + 4 Burlap strips = Ghillie Bushrag

1 Netting + 2 Burlap strips = Ghillie Hood

4 Netting + 10 Burlap strips = Ghillie suit

3 Netting + 6 Burlap strips = Ghillie Top

Hope this helps as I am on the hunt for Ghillie too!

4 netting and 10 burlap strips(get from cutting up burlap sacks) is what you will need for a complete suit(Ghillie Cloak). It uses the backpack slot. You still have vest, jacket, pants, and boots for inventory.

Craft Ghillie Gun Wrap with 1 netting and 2 burlap strips.

Turn Ghillie green by damaging it + sewing kit.

Thanks guys!

I've been finding bits of netting along the shoreline and in shipping containers, burlap sacks for breaking down seem to be harder to find (especially that many)

Anybody got any good locations for burlap sacks?

I've managed a hood and a gun wrap so far but doesn't quite look right xD

Burlap can be found in industrial areas mainly (I think) as well as garages and sheds I believe. Don't give up, You'll find more I'm sure. It seem like a Dayz thing that just when you are about to or have given up on finding what your looking for, boom it appears lol.

Remember even just a Ghilli hood or gun wrap helps break up your characters silhouette and can help you stay hidden (if that's what your choosing to do) or make you unrecognizable to other player initially as they may take a second to realize what they are looking at.

One thing I've been getting better at is noticing other players and one of the first things I notice is their silhouette or odd movement in the distance that isn't a zombie (The Z's Silhouette and movements are some what predictable once you get to know them)
