Server hopping into base's??

So is there any thing preventing other players from seeing your base and server hopping to get inside of the walls?

I saw a few discussions on reddit about plot poles, spawn radius and a few other suggestions and people saying the devs are doing 'this' but no one linked any sources and can't find anything on here.

All if seen in status reports and development posts is that there internally trying to think of the best way to deal with this issue. The best way would be placeable safes with combinations for your best loot but I think were a long long way from that being added. And the whole re-spawn radius and base radius mechanic would e a nightmare to implement. Another easy fix would be characters locked to servers to prevent server hopping completely but again until the games full release and stable with full persistency that's not a viable option. It's a tough one but it's safe to say any fix will take a long long time

I like the safes idea but that still means people can teleport away with your generators and tents and stuff. I guess we'll have to wait for locked servers that seems to be the best way, but even then that lowers potential for PvP when the server dies out
