M4 broken

Ok, whats going on with the M4? It seems everytime i pick up one it is broken.

Ehter the mag is stuck or it doesnt fire.

What is the current state of this gun?

What are all the know bugs? And what are the fixes for them?

My M4s so far have been fine. But see the thread nearby on bugs with mag loaded guns in general. I've had to dump three AKMs because, when I take the mag out to reload it, the game thinks it's still in the gun.
