Does anyone know what the heck this means? My friend(Who has this problem) replaced and filled in the files that were "Supposed" to be missing, but he keeps gettin' this error everytime he tries to join a server.

I am Also getting this error. I've done everything the guide said. But I get that message when i try to join a server too. If I find how to fix it I'll let ya know and could you do the same if you get it working.

Did you add the mod line -mod=@Dayz and start as Combined Ops?

I did,F:\Arma2\Bohemia Interactive\arma2oa.exe" -mod=@DayZ

I was looking around and found this, maybe this will help you.

COMMON ERRORS:

I get 'You cannot play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip etc.'upon joining any DayZ server.

- You installed the mod or the shortcut incorrectly. Make sure you add "-mod=@dayz" without quotes in the launch options and DayZ mod files are installed in the proper folder. By default: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\Addons

I got mine working... I forgot to add the Addons folder :D Silly me, I hope you've done a silly mistake so you can start playing.

My friend fixed it by deleting ALL traces of Arma2 & OA, and reinstalling it...

The problem you had was very simple, you were missing four of the files from the DayZ mod.

For anyone else seeing the same message, make sure you port ALL files from the download page, into Arrowhead/@DayZ/Addons/ (Extract the dayZ mod files here)
