Torches

Has anyone played with torches yet? I haven't but from what I read you can load them up with rags to pretty much burn indefinitely? I know once they add animal lard to the game, you can load the torches with that to burn as fuel. Also can you stick them into the ground? I have this idea at night to make a ring of torches and then put a backpack in the middle of them full of human flesh to freak people lol. I'd be pretty spooked if I came across that in game haha. When base building comes I can foresee some cool set ups illuminating fortresses at night.

I haven’t tried the torches yet either.

It would be great to have some black robes in game. That way, I can perform the black sacrament in the middle of the woods.

Imagine going through the woods by yourself. Then stumbling across a group of players dawned in black robes chanting, while surrounded by torches..

Would be quite fitting, given this day.

That would be terrifying! I wonder if there is a limit on how many torches can be placed in a given area.

I've used the torch. It's broken. The light that is cast by the flame is more distracting then helpful. You can not stick them in the ground. They are only good for completely giving away your position...
