Survival Journal

I've heard people talk of survival journals, in the context that it tracks things like days survived, distance traveled, zombies killed etc. but I was thinking of a slightly different take on a journal. I would be down for all these things to be tallied as well, but what if for each new character spawn you start with a journal, that allows you to add your own text, and essentially write your own story.  On another note the journals would permanently be kept in a log on your start menu, but when your character dies the journal will still be in your inventory so other players can pick up your journal and read about your experiences.

This would be a great add on - you could use the paper that’s EVERYWHERE and leave Dark souls style notes for players!

this IS a thing - just not in the xbox version yet. “Pens come in four different colors, and though they look identical from the outside, each one has the corresponding color of ink resulting in colored text when the player writes a note.“
