Server loot setting.

It seems like in the background some servers are set for low, normal, high loot just like on pc. If it is active, i suggest they show it on the server browser.

That isnt the case on xbox to my knowledge.

Low loot is because it's been looted in server already or is nearing a restart, but still been looted.

Medium loot is about right.

High loot is only in concentrated areas such as military tents and barracks, mainly before someone jumps to the server and grabs it.

I know some pc servers have put in (on dayz mod) to make it so tents spawn along the coast, so you get weapons and such immediately or within 10 min.

I think the loot spawns are fine, but I have a pretty solid loot road.

Polena, novy sobor, stary sobor, barracks south of NWA, tents at north NWA, barracks in forest behind NWA, hospital at soven
