u972163 0 Posted September 14, 2018 Old time Dayz player here returning to 0.63. A quick question. Is there any advice from the veterans on when you should disconnect a server? Most of the times when i die, its becuse the server "glitches" and i cant move/do anything and the zombies kill me. Just resently geared up and had a great time only to die from a server that didnt respond properly. Ping wasnt the issue as it was under 50.
emuthreat 2837 Posted September 14, 2018 Every two hours maximum is about what I try for. It really depends on what you are doing. If you notice ANY rubberbanding or inventory lag, take that as a sign to relog. Unless you're in a popular server with a queue, it takes less than 30 seconds.

Are you seeing a memory leak after 2 hrs? That's a good sign of one.
emuthreat 2837 Posted September 15, 2018 Just good practice. I'm not too sure about the reasons, it's just a good way to keep things from sticking at an inopportune time.
