Stashes locked to one character?

I buried some shit a few days ago, died, went back for it on a new character, it's gone.

Yes, I switched servers and then back to the one where I buried my shit.

Are stashes locked to one character? If so, that's garbage imo.

It should still be there providing you’re on the same server. Stashes last 40 something days. Maybe something happened after the update, or someone found your stash and claimed it for themselves?

Stashes are locked to the server you bury it on; not a player. As any player can find your stash and take it; im pretty sure. 

After the recent update, Your stash may of been wiped. I cant confirm that but would say its a high possibility it did get wiped under the last update.

That's what my wife said too. I just didn't want to believe it lol. It looks like i'ma have to wait until full release before planning anything long term in-game. I was hoarding lol
