Day/Night Cycle

Recommended Posts

Would anyone know if there is actually a day/night cycle in the game on Xbox?. I have seen in various FB Groups where people are saying there is but having played many hours (4 to 8 hours) on one Server a bunch of times, I am yet to see a night cycle. Rain yes, a slightly darker dusk period (prob just dark rain clouds) but no actual cycle. Anyone?

There is a day and night cycle in the game. But due to frequent server restarts the time currently gets reset, so that you will see daylight for most of the time.

Thanks for the clarification , in the future will the servers have a different reset cycle? It would be cool to see more night time but I understand that without NVG goggles or vehicles etc it would be difficult for gameplay experience balancing during testing. Just curious as to whether it's something we will see in the future.

Yes.as the servers become more stable as the devs continue work the resets should I think get gradually longer and longer apart.thus implementing death mode.cough"I mean night mode
