Some items in the game lose their usefulness once the "GAMA" can be manipulated. Example: lanterns, lantern, .... The game would be more interesting if the night we were forced to use light so we could move. Please disable the "GAMA" effect of the video options.

What makes you think that people who already use that bug won't use any other third-party program to increase gamma and brightness? Or maybe they could just increase it on their monitors? It's not as easy as removing gamma, they need to do the same thing that Arma 3 has to combat that gamma thingy.
