Is it bad to run the game at very low obejcts?

Hey guys. I have troubles with my fps with is only around 30-40 max. And going even lower in citys. And the only fix i found is to set my obejcts to very low. But im just that type of person who want's to know its not a huge deal. I can see that the stuff is not rendering furthure then few meters away from me. But its not that big change from normal to very low. So im asking is it huge problem that its very low? Any disentvantage and its not something so game breaking, right?

It does but makes looting more difficult, especially at night.

This might change in the near future but currently the game is more cpu dependant than gpu, I myself have had better luck on low end systems with middle of the road gfx setting and anything like filtering and smoothing turned off.
