The "cable reel" looks more like an electrical extension cord holder. Which you would probably plug into a generator, to feed power to something placed a distance from the generator.

And still no sign of horses... </sadface>

Ghosting is really a public concern, unless private hives are linked.

Cable reel will be for placing power to lights all around the base. You need to link the power someway.

Have you ever ran an extension cord from a gas generator?
