Add Workshop Support/Ablity to have Modded Servers

I believe this game could prosper like the mod if people are able to preform their own version of the game. With Add-Ons to the mod such as Epoch through the Steam Workshop, this game could prosper even further. It would make the community less angry towards you Bohemia, as well as speed up the Development process as you could hand some of the work over to the community to fix. ArmA III has Workshop Support, Why can't DayZ?

You must be new here.  Modding and workshop is already planed for down the road, there is no ETA but it's estimated to be one of the last hurdles before they declare Beta.

What is your reasoning for this?  Assuming some modder makes a wonderful mod that's optimized to hell, allows 4k graphics to run off of a potato, and increases all users Penis and Breast size by one.  What's BI suppose to do, give them a DayZ Tshirt, a pat on the back and 'thanks'?
