JBURNS489 165 Posted July 10, 2016 I had to brighten the video because shadowplay still records .60 really dark for me, so if any colors look off that's why. Right before I started recording, I saw zombies running towards the opposite side of tent city from me. I heard the zombies landing blows. This was on a server of ~30 people, and I was by myself. I don't like to KoS, but at places like tent city its usually kill or be killed. Patience and situational awareness are how battles are won.

Is it just me or is your "hold breath" still bound to your zoom button?

JBURNS489 165 Posted July 15, 2016 What do you use for zoom & hold breath? I had tried previously to set sprint and zoom to mouse button 3 and 4, but dayz didnt recognize the buttons.

Well...it's not for everyone but I actually set a separate button for fire weapon as well- in the event I'm working in more of a sniper capacity. First of all, go to the assignment for hold breath and remove the RMB. That way you can zoom without holding your breath. Zoom can remain RMB. I set my hold breath to B and my alternate fire key to M. That way I don't move the mouse unnecessarily when I'm pressing the mouse button. I find it helps but you don't need to do that if you don't want to. As for why the program isn't picking up your various mouse buttons- windows may have simply installed it as a generic mouse and you may need to install specific drivers for it. I have my back thumb button set for in game voice chat since it's easy to activate while moving and doing other stuff. Edited July 15, 2016 by eno
