The GPU is your graphics card. it will be called something like NVidia xxx or ATI Radeon yyy. Do you have one? Is it all installed/enabled and running other things/games successfully? 'DirectX inactive' is not a good sign.

In ascending order of seriousness: reinstall it and ensure its drivers are up to date/get a new one/consider a new computer.

Having said that, my GPU is crap, and my computer is at least five years old and run the game pretty well.

Or Intel something... if it's an onboard / integrated graphics card (unless is an integrated nvidia card or something) then you're going to be SOL. If you go into your device manager and look at your display adapter it will tell you what your graphics card is. I'm willing to wager it's some onboard / integrated thing. In which case only a new video card is going to resolve your issue.

When I google "DayZ minimum requirements" it brings up a detailed list including: Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 or AMD Radeon HD 5850 or Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 512 MB VRAM.

I'm willing to wager what you're running is not quite up to that. I see Intel HD Graphics in there- which is integrated... buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut that's far from "recommended."
