Recommended Posts

will dayz be ready for all of the goodness to come from the next gen GPU's like the GTX 1070?

chip: GP104
producé: 16nm FinFET
transistors: 7.2 Billion
Cuda cores: 2048 CUDA Cores
VRAM: 8 GB GDDR5
bus interface: 256-bit bus
power connector: Power Single 8-Pin Power? <- only thing I don't know for sure
TDP: 150W
connections:
3x Display Port 1.4
1x HDMI 2.0b
1x DVI
delivery date: 10th June 2016
prijs: $379 US/€370,31 (incl tax)

out performs the gtx 970 with 45% and the 980ti with 10%

please note that this is a mid-high range card.. and not a high range monster like the 1080 that out performs the titan x and the 980ti by an amount you don't even wanna know xD

that doesn't matter.. it's the fact that dayz needs to step its game up since there are cards coming its way that will blow stuff outta the water 'because' they can and that's a just cause that's just caused .. ;=) xD

They're all old arguments against AMD which are really not relevant to next gen at all. Polaris is likely to be more power efficient than Pascal and also be more supported in DX12 and Vulkan APIs. At the end of the day all I care about is performance per euro, it can bake a radiation cake in my case for all I care! And at performance per euro the 10 quid a year on electricity is not really going to make a dent when deciding what card to buy.

Still won't know until they're released but early benchmarks show promising results.
