HeadlessJoey 1 Posted February 18, 2016 (edited) Hi, Lately I've been having an issue on rejoining a server after just leaving one. When I start my game and I go in a server then it takes a few seconds and everything is loaded and ready to play without any issues but when I disconnect and I rejoin a server then my game crashes (note the "a server" this is for the same the server I left or any other). Whether I wait the 60 seconds or join a server instantly, it will spawn me in and I can see around me for maybe a second and then suddenly I will have 0fps (actually 0.01 because every now and then it suddenly shifts to another frame). After maybe a minute or so it will crash, either DayZ stopped responding or I get kicked by BattleEye and I get a Session Lost message. This is with private servers, public, 3rd person and whatever you can think of. My PC is also very good, I have litteraly no fps issues at all when playing, it has to be some other weird setting causing this. I am really wandering how I can solve this problem, now my only solution is to shutdown dayz and restart it. I am thinking it's some kind of memory problem (DayZ storing data in temp folder to make the game load in quicker, who knows?) but I honestly have no idea and I thought it would be time to start asking around if anyone would know a solution to this. Any answer or reply is appreciated. PS I can start posting all my specs but like I said that is not what is causing the problem, it only happens after disconnecting from one server and then joining a server again (the same or another I just left). Irish. 4886 Posted February 18, 2016 I have this same issue, but it does not happen in the same instances as you. I have no issues rejoining. What I get is completely random. 90% of the time I start up dayz it works fine. But every now and then, I boot it up and its in the same state you describe. I have issues even getting past the main menu, or exiting out of the game without ctrl-alt-delete. Nothing I do appears to clear it up. So I just give up, and come back the next day.. which surprisingly it usually works again at that point. It has done this repeatedly following updates, and patches recently. Ever since .58 exp. Ive had issues with this problem. At times its kept me from playing the game at all (like with .58 where for 2-3 weeks I couldnt get in the game at all without this happening). varobun 19 Posted February 18, 2016 I think I know what you're talking about as well. I have a small chance of loading the server and being completely frozen on login. After a minute or so for being frozen the server auto-kicks you (session lost). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
HeadlessJoey 1 Posted February 18, 2016 Yup exactly, it takes 1 minute and you just can't move and then the server kicks you (sessions lost message). As for your issue are you using any 3 party software, and also are you using the new ui? If so try testing it without using the new ui or 3rd party software.
