Retriving a Car Tent

Has anyone found a way to get a car tent off the roof of a building(besides jumping off)?

1) Switch to new UI.

 

2) Drop the car tent at the top of the ladder.

 

3) Stand at the bottom of the ladder.

 

4) Grab the tent from the vicinity window. 

 

5) Drink a beer.

And for those who don't even want to contemplate using the new UI- get a friend who does.

 

I spent 10 minutes one day trying to engineer a way to get it off the roof through various running G attempts, throwing down the ladder... off the edge... etc. 

 

 

In the most hilarious instance in not so recent memory we had a guy hit the V key instead of the G key to throw and he daintily stepped over the edge of the building and fell to his death. 

 

We still got the tent.
