After a break of around 6 months I came back to try 0.59.

 

My experience was being totally ruined by cheats and the game became pointless.

 

After about 10 hours into the latest stable patch I have it say it is back to its best, the old clan are all coming back and the PVP is as good as ever.

yeah our group walked away for the most part once .58 went stale- about a month into it. Everyone was just running around killing one another and the glitch hacking got ridiculous. No zombies was one thing originally I thought wasn't going to be a big deal but the difference they make in the numbers they're appearing in is tangible.

So zombies are back in the game in reasonable numbers? I have not been following developments much and have not played since they were removed really.

Yes... more zombies in larger centers obviously but there are a few scattered throughout just about all towns. They're a little glitchy but ultimately something that you'd rather not have coming at you in large numbers from injuries and potential infections. Also ammo isn't AS available... something you need to stay on top of unless you're literally farming ammo.

 

It's a good time to stick your toe back in the game.

There are zombies but they don't react to you unless you fire a gun and they clip through doors and walls again

This isn't true. 

 

1. They do react but if you fire a gun you will end up with a lot more harassing you.

2. Locked 7 of them out of a police station and they did not clip through either door. In fact I haven't seen one clip through a door in .59 yet.

Yeah i haven't experienced any clipping issues yet, but i'm mainly fighting them outside / have my back to them running.

They will react, though it seems they have a smaller cone of detection to their rear and you can creep up on them rather easily (which i appreciate personally).

 

They do however have a wind-up windmill charge attack which i thought was rather cool, but it made me bleed so i had to put him down :(

A superb Friday evening culmanating in a brilliant gun battle at the NWAF. Multiple players kills and even a theft of a large bus. How is everyone one finding 0.59?
