Questions about heli loot, tire repair, bus driving

Recommended Posts

Does a heli crash have loot respawn?
From what I hear, you have to take the actual tire out of the vehicle to use tire repair on it. What's the exact way of going about this? If a wheel is 'damaged' is it still repairable? I'm using the NewUI btw.
Is it normal that you can't go over a slightly steep hill with a bus? The rear wheels are damaged(thus me wanting to repair them), could that be related?

I don't think heli crash loot respawns until the heli respawns. Not sure though.

To repair a tire:

  1. (Old UI) Look at the wheel on the car with your crosshair. Use a lug wrench in hands on wheel to remove it (F key).
(New UI) In inventory, drag wheel to ground.
  2. Look at the wheel on the ground with your crosshair. Use tire repair kit in hands on wheel to repair it (F key).
(The status may not update but it should when you pick it up/reattach it)

The bus is underpowered at the moment. They will probably fix this later.
It is best to get a run up for hills and gear down as you slow down going up hills.

I can answer the first two questions.

1. Yes

2. I've been able to repair a tire by taking the repair kit to my hands and right clicking the tire while it is attached to the car (old ui)
