Dayz Not Utilizing CPU

When Playing Dayz i get around 40 FPS outside of cities and my CPU usage is at 15-20% usage on Intel i7 497k @ 4.00GHz my graphics card is a nvidia gtx 780ti i have frieds with lesser pc's getting 20 more FPS than me

Let me lookup the graphics card settings i had optimal for your setup.

 

You have a better cpu then i do, but shouldnt make a difference. I get 80+ most times outside the city. Ive seen it drop as low as 16fps on some laggy Mofo servers though.

The biggest FPS drags in order for me have been

1) Shadows (always at low now)

2) AA (off)

3) HDR Quality (Very low)

4) Internet/Server connection (This can be number 1 sometimes)

 

 

Edge smoothing can give a couple back too but generally if you're hitting 15+ in heavily populated cities you are doing well. :)
