just got a 301kb update on stable dayz.... what was it for?

Yeah, that's super tiny.

 

Probably a battleeye/security update of some kind.

 

Little updates happen fairly often.

 

I think these little updates can change some configuration settings too.

 

If there were any real updates you would see a lot of chatter about it in the official stable build thread.

If you really want to stay on top of changes you should follow the official build threads, the experimental build threads, and maybe check Hicks and Eugen twitter feeds.

 

I mostly follow those sources CLOSELY and I almost always have current and verifiable info.

i do follow all that m8, have done for about a year now, but there is nothing on anything from the devs. we had a small BE update last week, unusual to have another so soon.

there are different versions of the game when you "hook" exp. in steam, with hooked exp. the background at starting and server joining "feels" normal.

 

with stable version comes an download (2,4 mb) and starting background is blue and server joining takes much longer.

 

don´t think its only an BE update, there must be more "features" in this small download.
