Server restart times

I know servers restart every 12 hours. But is there like a certain time when servers restart?

In all honesty i don't know, but i think it is different between public and private. Haven't payed too much attention since .58 dropped, but i'm pretty sure (assuming your NZ) that PIPSI / HIHB or some of those servers restart every 2/4 hours...

public may be different too.

I'd formed the impression that it was 8am, but servers seem pretty random in this respect. Presumably admins can vary the time?

I know there are different hosts, so it would make sense if it's their side that the times don't marry perfectly.

If it's client (renter) side then there should be even more variance.

I was just wondering when it restarts cause i sometimes get these no msg received texts

in my experience if it's 90+ seconds no message received the server has ceased and you should retry or find another.
