Has the pso1 vanished? Looted many military barracks and airfields to no avail

I always take them off the SVD's when i find them at the heli crashes then toss the gun in the woods. Get a truck and go heli hunting you'll find one.

You might've found them here and there in .57 but loot was broken.

 

The loot table is much better now.

 

The PSO-1 Is a badass scope, they are very rare and will take some time to find one unless you're super lucky.

 

But you can find them Residential/Civilian areas, General Military, and ontop of the SVD and VSS Vintorez snipers - which both can only be found at helicopter crash sites.

As far as I understand, they removed the PSO-1 from the loot tables when they introduced the SVD and the only place you can find them is on the actual rifle.

 

Also, the PSO-1 has been calibrated for the SVD (and possible the VSS) only, and wont give accurate shots (specifically the range) on the AK series assault rifles.

I find a scope then go looking for trucks to take the wheels off which I then hide together in the woods.

LOL no I was just messing around though Trucks are annoying as hell right now. As for snipers, I've never had an issue with them personally. Once the game nears release I'll need to remember how to move again but really, if you're stationary in a hotspot and in the open you deserve a bullet in the head. Any other place and they're easy to avoid.
