MrAerospace 87 Posted September 16, 2015 It'd be interesting to see what kind of shenanigans would occur if a few banks existed around Chernarus where players could legitimately keep themselves safe behind those bullet-proof windows.
q.S Sachiel 470 Posted September 16, 2015 (edited) But in a pure market economy don't you still need production capabilities (raw materials to product) and some kind of authority for a financial asset (e.g. generic fiat currency, finite resource, the produced good, etc.)? It's not like we can just go out and farm cotton, build cotton gins and factories and hire workers and pay them in our products. I feel like we are missing a part of a working economy. Yeah i spose, but you can farm, and i'd say hunter-forager as 'producer'. I don't believe you need a fiat currency for that system though, barter and commodities trade is the foundation of any market economy. I guess what i was getting at is that dayZ is attractive, and the core of its being exists upon a lack of regulation and control (at least centralised). Also @ Aerospace: they'd probably domicile themselves only to be quickly conflagrated with petrol. Edited September 16, 2015 by q.S Sachiel
Funkmaster Rick 373 Posted September 16, 2015 As interesting as this idea may be, at the end of the day, everything is worth exactly one bullet. =/
