My mouse is acting funny

I downloaded and started the game and immediately noticed that my cursor was missing. so i had to use arrow keys and the touch screen on my computer to tweak my settings before playing. i started playing and found that i could use my mouse in-game for moving around,attacking, zooming, etc. but i still could not use it in the menu. But the most importaqnt thing is i have no cursor to move things from vicinity to inventroy, player, and vise versa. i can deal with the issue in the menu but cannot play without being able to move iteams around in the inventory. Can someone help me please?

try uninstalling and re-installing DayZ

could be resolution a friend of mine had a similar sounding issue the resolution was wacky at default for him and it was zoomed and screwy no mouse. he used the keys to get to options to change the resolution then restarted and was fine.
