BCBasher 2465 Posted August 29, 2015 Can I only refuel the V3S with a gas can or can I use a water bottle and canteen with gas in them? Dont I have to wait for the V3S to fully run out of gas to? Junior and I spent twenty minutes filling a completely empty one in exp with pet bottles two at a time and it didn't even get us ten minutes down the road. You can do it but it's painfully slow.
ZogVarnoka 26 Posted August 29, 2015 I remember in the mod, it would take anywhere from 6-10 jerry cans full of gas to completely fill a truck/bus. Not sure how this would transfer over here. Jerry cans hold about 20 litres worth of liquid so yea, its alot.
Master385 2 Posted September 1, 2015 Are you still able to fill up with water bottles? I'm not getting the option to.
KenoSkir88 181 Posted September 1, 2015 Are you still able to fill up with water bottles? I'm not getting the option to. Yeah you can still do it, though if no Jerry can is available i suggest you take the time to find couple of cooking pots since they hold 2 PET bottles worth of water. Make sure you are on correct side to aim directly at fuel tank (truck right side) etc.
BCBasher 2465 Posted September 1, 2015 For what it's worth I tried comparing a pet bottle and canteen to a gas can, it's 20 pet bottles or 33 canteens. Someone in the stable .58 thread said it was I something like 4 gas cans to fill the truck so you're talking 80 pet bottles. Gas cans seem pretty common on the coast at the boats that spawn netting etc. I've found 4 or more so far.
Bororm 1156 Posted September 1, 2015 Cooking pot holds more than a water bottle, though I kinda don't think it's even twice as much so still gonna take you a while. Also, are the gas gauges broken? The trucks I've seen so far they are.

Thanks for the heads up, i've had one hell of a time finding one. So far i've searched the north and west sides of the map, every shed/garage. Have found multiple batteries and spark plugs though, so that's a plus.
wingman.edu 55 Posted September 1, 2015 V3S tank is 120L (fuel gauge is labeled). PET = 1L (120 times) Jerry Can = 25L (~5 times) Tried PET filling before, it's so so so painfully slow, you're better off running wherever you're going.

Not saying you're wrong but I got 5% out of the gas can per water bottle and 3% with a canteen, I figured it at 20l?
