Death By Crowbar 1213 Posted July 29, 2015 I tried sniping with a Winchester today, and wow was I surprised by the noise. Wow that gun is loud. I've not tried the SVD yet though. My thoughts:Blaze - you get two shots without delay, that's a major strength. Weakness is it's 2 shots then an ungodly long reload time.Winchester - holds 5 shots (like the Mosin) and is a similar experience to the old Mosin+LRS in effect. However, you've got the bolt delay between each shot and to me it seems much louder than the Blaze.If I've got a hunting scope I'd take either, if I had both and had to choose I'd be wishy washy about it but I had better success with the Blaze because you take one shot, see where it hits, and immediately take a corrected shot. I seemed to have potato aim with the Winchester, and I'm not sure why. Actually I had trouble hitting much of anything with the Winchester now that I think of it. attackm0de 38 Posted August 5, 2015 Haven't seen an SVD in game yet and probably wont for a long time due to rarity. However, I did lay my hands on a Winchester for a short time before being killed and ZI liked it although the recoil was immense. So after spawning I decided to go looking for the Winchester again but could only find Blazers everywhere so I got used to it. I liked the Blaze but still kept looking for another Winchester in which I found. Got ghillie wrap on it and love it. Shame I'ts gonna be wiped very shortly but its fun looking for em. ZomboWTF 527 Posted August 5, 2015 I really love weapons that don't need a clip to function, also i always was a fan of the Blaze, and since hunting scopes are so easy to find if you know where a lot of deerstands are, the blaze becomes a very good sniper rifle very soon to bad the double shot is bugged and won't shoot both bullets at the same time, else blaze would be a beast without comparison to snipe people that said, if you manage to find a sporter clip: yay long range sporter!^^ Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
