Boris ze Blade 4 Posted July 9, 2015 Dayz should definitely have such a mechanic which lets you delay the chamber animation to be able to see bullet impacts without your scope dancing all over the place. For example, in BF you can just hold your fire button after taking a shot to stay still. This helps a lot when engaging distant targets. Regular reload animation resumes after you release the fire button.
CottonTheMoth 8 Posted July 9, 2015 Seems simple enough, and infinitely helpful. Games like Red Orchestra 2 allow for a "manual bolting" checkbox in the menu where the gun only cocks when you click a second time, but for how shitty the game responds right now that would probably be a clusterfuck, and holding down fire sounds like a good way to go. MasterBoot 1 Posted July 14, 2015 Very good suggestion! I sniped a zombie yesterday (and missed) and by the time the reload animation was over I had lost sight of him.
Parazight 1606 Posted July 14, 2015 Yes. It's why I pass on the CR527 currently.
eno 1049 Posted July 14, 2015 This would be a nice feature. Noticed a need for it last night.
tylerdfroelich 0 Posted July 18, 2015 Yeah, it will be work when time reload animation was over. I think the animation gets blurry becuase you zooming out it. You should not do it this it will display automatically, here you can see the example of it: http://platinumplatypus.com
