Guys, i'm going to need a little more weather than what we currently have.

Recommended Posts

Brian did make a twitter post (god I hate twitter...) that although rare, weather was still within the game. It is much too rare, I have yet to see a single cloud in the bright sunny sky for over a month. I really would suggest to up that a bit.

Thanks

Not a suggestion I'm afraid.

Expect things like this to change over time, seeing as we're still in Alpha. It can have various reasons as to why it was disabled / toned down.

For anyone still wondering:

I expect it was a mistake. Maybe some value that affects weather was accidentally changed - or maybe they're testing something.

At any rate I'm certain it's temporary. Got to be said, though, I do miss the rain. I used to love finding rain coats because it was like hitting the jackpot. Do hope that more clothes will be a bit more waterproof down the line. As it stands a sweater is just as good as a wool coat or bomber jacket when it comes to the rain - certainly military gear of all types should be much better than they are at keeping players dry.
