Hunting Reference Guide for 0.57

Recommended Posts

Tatanko, any tips for 0.58? For me it's nightmare, although maybe it's because I stick to one private server which seems to be poor... Anyway, so far in this build I found only a herd of cows near Severograd. Absolutely no sighting of any wild game at all! I do my best to look around with a hunting scope so I can scout very distant hills and forests, not a glimpse of antlers. 0.57 was tough but not nearly as much as 0.58. I checked many ponds and streams, including that pool at Sosnovka, nothing.

Animals are a lot less predictable in their habits on 0.58. In fact, I'd venture to say that animals aren't totally working as intended at the moment, given their behavior. I do love hunting, but actually seeking out animals in 0.58 is an exercise in frustration. Not sure I have much advice for you at this time :( We'll see how 0.59 changes things, hopefully for the better.
