yazar8 584 Posted June 16, 2015 Can't see my ping since this new patch, I'm assuming this is not a bug. Though tell me how am I supposed to know my ping apart from going to cmd.exe and pinging the server on my own?

That should be more than enough to tell whether a server is playable or not.
yazar8 584 Posted June 16, 2015 (edited) You still have the Ping in your Server-Browser. That should be more than enough to tell whether a server is playable or not. I was expecting this. Even a layman knows that ping is tend to increase when you go ingame, plus if you get lag spikes you might want to know how bad you're lagging. So an ingame indicator is required, even one for packet loss. Saying this is like a big "fuck you" to all those games which have indicators for your ping INGAME and even ARMA 3 is one of those o.O If the one at the server browser was enough then why do the other games add one ingame aswell? But for the meantime there's still the serverbrowser giving you an overlook over servers. If you have bad internet, you have bad internet and lagspikes will come, no matter if you see it ingame or not. Expect it to change again, as so many things change in the development anyway. I have to agree with the OP on this though. It was nice when you would have issues in game and ask around and no one else is having issues that you could check your ping and latency and then go, "Oh wow my latency is really bad, hold on I'm going to disconnect and reconnect." It was also really nice so that you could let the server admins know when there was an issue and it was affecting EVERYONE and not just you. It's a really nice tool and I hope they bring it back.
