I recently was shot off my dirt bike and lost my gear. It doesn't bother me one bit that this happened, whoever did it has fantastic aim. I am now roaming a northern city waiting for people to walk by with better gear. The only people I am killing have better gear than I do, I only stalk the ones who have crap for gear in the chance they lead me to a heavily armed friend. People who are no use to me pass by freely.

Not at all. Killing another player for their gear is fine, just another way of looting. If you shoot another player with better weapons/equipment, and he doesn't kill you back, then he doesn't deserve his gear.

Just memorize the city you are in, check your 6, be aware of your surroundings and you will be fine. But NEVER think you are safe! Some days you get the drop, others you get dropped. It's just how life works.
