Posted last month about my pitiful 1.5 internet speed, appreciate all the comments. I live in a rural area, very limited isp's. Just found out another isp can give me 7 mbps, maybe 10. going to jump all over that. Also ordered a new custom built from cyberpower. Should be here next week. I know Dayz is alpha, has bugs, and I will die alot. I'm ok with that. I'm not that good at video games anyway :). Really hopeful I can  play this game. Cheers.

Chances are the network problems that you are facing are likely due to problems with the legacy netcode in the game. Don't be surprised if you get a new ISP and still see problems with desync, lag, and issues with multiplayer.
