Robert Neville 59 Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) I bought Arma II and Arma II Operation Arrowhead on Steam, then installed also DayZ Mod from Steam. When run, no matter which server I choose, it complains about missing files and signatures with the same error as here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/224968-noob-needing-start-up-help/ Browsing through the forums I have read that one has to install DayZ Launcher, but other threads say to install DayZ Commander. There's even a DayZ Mod shortcut installed by Steam (this is the one I used to run the game). This is confusing. What is the most up-to-date, simpler, and recommended way to run DayZ Mod? Robert Neville 59 Posted May 24, 2015 So why does it complain about missing files (see my first post)? Do I need to buy additional Arma extensions? In the only server I managed to join I was a bird and I could only fly around. And it was not possible to quit the game -- I had to kill it from Task Manager, very annoying.
