Spawning vehicles problem in 1.8.5 SQL

As of 1.8 i have had some issues getting more vehicles to spawn statically so after some time and data entering

I've created a table of Vehicle Spawns based loosly on this map here: http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarus.

 

There are 69 vehicles in this table but you can add/remove as much as you want as long as you follow the object_spawns table.

 

Nearly all vehicles have no fuel and data has been based off object_spawns table. So you may want to also change this data to your liking.

 

To install just replace blank table with this one. Locations and vehicle info should save if your server is set up correctly.

 

Download just rename to .SQL

 

object_data.sql.txt

 

This can also be used for other maps too, you just need to modify the Worldspace column.

I'm really unsure what this is doing ? If you wish to add vehicles just run pmain and vehicles will be added.

Its just for people interested in additional repairable vehicles to the current set, I couldn't find any on Chernarus that aren't complete wrecks and beyond repair.

 

maybe my server has terrible luck :P

 

edit: I also ran the OOB function to no avail.

the oob is out of bounds has nothing to do with spawning ?

 

Run pMain to respawn vehicles if you wish to change the damage values edit them in vehicle_spawns if your using the new spawn system.

 

Ps your only running the new spawn system if your admins have installed it.

Wait you said you cant repair them that means there all bloody damaged run the pcleanup to remove and pmain to respawn them again. You should enable timers and run pmain every 3 hours it should do everything for you.

Ok just to explain a few things

 

Server is running on localhost using mySQL server.

 

ive installed server, installed all SQL data in 1.8.5 folder and also added The vehicle spawner code.

 

run ALL functions including pMain.

 

changed all Vehicle data including spawn chance, hitpoints/ damage. still no repairable vehicles.

 

my method is the Only way it works on my server no other table makes any changes to server,

 

i appreciate you trying to help but my method is the only one that works for me.

Ok that way is very wrong. So we need to find out why its not working.

 

Stop server

Rename your object_data.
Add new Object_date epmty

run pmain

 

Whats happening when you run pmain?

Ok i found the problem.

 

during installation pCleanup was not being added to the stored procedures. so manually added pCleanup because only pCleanupBase pCleanupOOB were only visible in hive.

 

so then i run pMain(1337);

 

Now object_data is full. :)

I think i'm having the same issue.

 

I have a dayz vanilla server 1.8.6.1 and i can't increase my vehicle servers. i have set on vehicle_spawns but, my object_data stops around 55.

Take a peek at the table VEHICLE_GROUPS also..it appears to be like a global max vehicle count by vehicle ID...

 

on a side note,  I also had to delete out the info in VEHICLE_SPAWNS_GROUPS in order to get all the vehicles spawned that I wanted.

Though I did this because I added/rearranged/etc the Vehicle ID's to my liking and didn't even understand what this table was actually doing other than stopping some of my vehicles counts from spawning.

Take a peek at the table VEHICLE_GROUPS also..it appears to be like a global max vehicle count by vehicle ID...

It only spawns a maximum amount of vehicles based on group.

I was able to spawn more vehicles, but now i can't find them in game, i go to them thru DB and they are not there.

in your OBJECT_DATA table,  do the vehicles have the same INSTANCE number as your server?

Yeah that was the problem. FIXED!
